Started in January of 2004, this program has
already posted thousands of pets from 4 different countries. Our Pet
Prayer Network creates a sense of community support and comfort to pet
owners whose pets are ill, injured, or lost. Pet owners whose pets are
in need of prayer can submit their pets' information which is then
placed on our Prayer List, usually within 24 hours. Once a pet is added
to the Prayer List, or their listing is updated, an email is sent to
those who have volunteered to pray for our Prayer List pets. The list is
non-denominational and participants are encouraged to remember the
prayer list pets in whatever manner they prefer. There is also a special
section in our
Forums specifically for the families of our prayer list pets and
those offering support to them.
If you have a pet in need of prayer, please send
in a Prayer Request. Your request for
prayer will be posted within 24 hours after we receive your email.
If you have a pet who is on the prayer
list, we urge you to visit our Pet Prayer Network page on Facebook. Here you can post messages to the people that will be praying for your
pet, as well as read messages they may post to you. If you are seeking
support for a pet that has passed away or is terminally ill, we urge you
to visit the following resources available through the Animals at Heart
Organization by
clicking here. If you have a special prayer
for pets or animals in general and would like to share it, please email
it to
the Animals at Heart Prayers for Pets List so that we may add it to the
Prayers for Pets page.
If your pet was on our Pet Prayer List and you have a
happy ending you'd like to share, please submit your "Happy Tail"
here.
Please remember that, unlike other
websites that host memorials and prayer lists for profit, Animals at
Heart is a non-profit charity organization (.org). Animals at Heart does
not ask for money to place a pet on the prayer list, or for any of our
services, even though it costs to provide the service and maintain the
website, including the prayer list network. Please, if you feel like we
have touched your heart, consider making a donation to help support this
and our other services. We are making a positive difference in the lives
of pets, pet owners, and shelter animals everywhere, but we can't do it
without your support. Thank you.
Animals at Heart's Pet
Prayer Network is celebrating All Souls Day/ Halloween by
remembering the pets that have left us. Check out our Facebook
page and read about the history of All Souls Day, and then post
the names of pets and people that you want remembered! Spread
the word so that your friends and families can honor their loved
ones who have passed on.
